It doesn't take much to satisfy a miniJOULE – find a place in the sun and it'll be more than happy. The main thing is that it is firmly anchored to prevent it from flying away in the next storm. Here are the options in setting up your miniJOULE:
On the ground
If you want to set your miniJOULE up on the lawn, all you need to do is drive ground pegs into the ground – much the same as pitching a tent.

Flagstones also make good anchors.

On your carport
Up, up and away? No problem with a miniJOULE. As with ground mounting, you can fasten your miniJOULE to your carport in a number of ways. You can either use bolts (not ground pegs!), or lay flagstones onto the frame.

On the wall
You can also mount your miniJOULE onto a suitable wall to keep it out of the way.
